Amoveas manus is a legal term that means "that you remove your hands." It refers to a judgment that orders the Crown to give up possession of land to the person who filed the complaint. This judgment is called amoveas manus because of the words "quod manus domini regis amoveantur" which means "that the hands of the king be removed." A writ is issued on the judgment.
