Definition: To lure or induce; especially, to wrongfully solicit a person to do something.

• The salesman tried to entice me with a free gift if I bought the product.
• The criminal enticed the victim into giving them their personal information.
• The teacher enticed the students with the promise of extra credit if they completed the assignment.

These examples illustrate how someone can be tempted or persuaded to do something they may not have done otherwise.
