Eyewitness

An eyewitness is someone who saw an event happen with their own eyes. They can give firsthand information about what they saw. For example, if someone saw a car accident happen, they would be an eyewitness.

Eyewitnesses are often asked to give testimony in court to help determine what happened in a particular situation. However, they must prove that they were actually present at the time of the event through other evidence.
