Example: If someone forcefully takes possession of a property in a town, that act of force is considered fresh force. The Assize of Fresh Force allows the rightful owner to seek a remedy for this act of force.

Definition:Fresh pursuit is the right of a police officer to make a warrantless search of a fleeing suspect or to cross jurisdictional lines to arrest a fleeing suspect.

Example: If a suspect commits a crime and flees the scene, a police officer can pursue them without a warrant if they have reasonable suspicion that the suspect is guilty. This is known as fresh pursuit.
