In judicio possessorio is a Latin term used in law to refer to a possessory action.

A possessory action is a legal action taken by someone who is in possession of a property or asset to protect their right to that property or asset. In other words, it is a legal action taken to prevent someone else from taking possession of something that rightfully belongs to the person who is already in possession of it.

For example, if John is living in a house that he owns, and someone else tries to move in and claim ownership of the house, John can take legal action to protect his possession of the house. This legal action would be an example of in judicio possessorio.
