INFANTIA

Infantia is a Latin term used in Roman law to refer to the period of a person's life from birth to seven years. It is also known as early childhood.

During infantia, children are completely dependent on their parents or caregivers for their basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing. They are unable to communicate effectively and are still developing their motor skills.

For example, a baby who is only a few months old cannot walk or talk and needs to be carried or held by an adult. A toddler who is two or three years old may be able to walk and say a few words, but still needs help with tasks such as dressing and feeding.

These examples illustrate the definition of infantia by showing that it is a period of life when children are in their early stages of development and require constant care and attention from adults.
