Infidelitas

Infidelitas is a word from Latin that means infidelity or faithlessness to one's feudal oath. In history, it was used to describe someone who broke their promise to be loyal to their lord or king.

For example, if a knight promised to serve his king but then joined a rebellion against him, he would be accused of infidelitas. Similarly, if a lord promised to protect his vassals but then failed to do so, he would be guilty of infidelitas.
