Laga is an old word that means law. It comes from the Saxon word "lag". It was used to describe the area where a certain law was in force. For example, there was the Danelaw, Mercenlage, and West-Saxon lage.

Today, we don't use the word laga anymore. We use the word law instead.

One example of laga is the Danelaw. This was the area of England where the Vikings had their own laws and customs. Another example is the West-Saxon lage, which was the law that was in force in the area of England where the West Saxons lived.
