LIMINE OUT
When a court excludes evidence by granting a motion in limine.
The judge limined out most of the plaintiff's medical records.
When a party wants to exclude certain evidence from being presented at trial, they can file a motion in limine. If the court grants the motion, the evidence is excluded and cannot be presented to the jury. In this example, the plaintiff's medical records were limined out, meaning they could not be used as evidence in the trial.
