Offeror

Someone who makes an offer.

An offeror is a person who proposes a deal or agreement to another person. For example, if you want to sell your car, you can be the offeror by setting a price and telling a potential buyer that you are willing to sell the car for that amount. Another example is when a company offers a job to a candidate, the company is the offeror and the candidate is the offeree.

• Alice offered to sell her bike to Bob for $100.
• John offered a job to Mary as a marketing manager.
• The landlord offered to rent the apartment to the tenant for $1,000 per month.

In the first example, Alice is the offeror because she is proposing to sell her bike to Bob for a specific price. In the second example, John is the offeror because he is proposing a job to Mary. In the third example, the landlord is the offeror because he is proposing to rent the apartment to the tenant for a specific amount of money.
