An organizational meeting is a gathering of people who have a common interest in establishing a permanent or ongoing organization. This meeting is usually held after a mass meeting and an interval when the organization operates under provisional officers while its governing documents are drafted. The purpose of the organizational meeting is to adopt governing documents and elect officers.
