Plus petere tempore is a Latin term that means "to overclaim in point of time." In Roman law, it refers to the act of making a claim before payment is due.

An example of plus petere tempore would be if a creditor demanded payment from a debtor before the agreed-upon due date. Another example would be if a landlord attempted to evict a tenant before the rent was actually late.

These examples illustrate the concept of overclaiming in point of time. In both cases, the person making the claim is attempting to collect or enforce something before it is actually due. This is not allowed under Roman law, as it is considered unfair and unjust.
