PRO POSSE SUO

Pro posse suo means "to the extent of one's power or ability."

• She donated money to the charity pro posse suo.
• He tried to lift the heavy box pro posse suo, but it was too heavy for him.

These examples illustrate that pro posse suo means doing something to the best of your ability, even if it may not be enough to accomplish the task. In the first example, the person donated as much money as they could afford to the charity. In the second example, the person tried to lift the heavy box as much as they could, but it was still too heavy for them.
