Definition of unaccrued
UNACCRUED
Unaccrued is an adjective used to describe something that is not yet due or owed. For example, rent on a lease that has not yet reached its due date is considered unaccrued.
- John's rent is due on the first of every month. If it's currently the 15th, the rent for the next month is unaccrued.
- Martha's car payment is due on the 25th of each month. If it's currently the 10th, the car payment for the next month is unaccrued.
These examples illustrate the definition of unaccrued by showing how something that is owed, such as rent or a car payment, is not yet due and therefore unaccrued.
