Definition of United States Munitions List
The United States Munitions List is a list of items that are considered defense articles, services, and related technical data by the federal government. These items are controlled by the Arms Export Control Act. The list is divided into twenty-one categories of defense articles, ranging from firearms to nuclear weapons. You can find the United States Munitions List in Part 121 of the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR).
