A bounded tree is a tree that marks a corner of a property's boundary. For example, if a property line runs along a row of trees, one of those trees may be designated as a bounded tree to indicate where the property ends. This helps prevent disputes between neighbors over property lines.

A bounder is a visible mark that indicates a territorial limit in a land survey. For example, a surveyor may place a stake in the ground to mark the boundary of a property. This helps ensure that everyone knows where the property ends and prevents disputes.

1. A premium or benefit offered or given, especially by a government, to induce someone to take action or perform a service. For example, a government may offer a bounty for the capture of a dangerous criminal.
2. A gift, especially in a will; generosity in giving. For example, a wealthy person may leave a bounty to their favorite charity in their will.
3. The portion of a salvage award exceeding what the salvor would be entitled to on the basis of quantum meruit. Also termed gratuity or bonus. For example, if a salvor recovers a sunken ship and is entitled to a percentage of its value, any additional payment they receive would be considered a bounty.

Bounties are often used as incentives to encourage people to take certain actions or perform certain services. They can also be used as a way to show generosity or reward someone for their efforts.
