BRIBEE

A bribee is a person who receives a bribe. They are also known as a bribe-taker.

1. The government official was caught as a bribee when he accepted money in exchange for granting a contract to a company.

2. The athlete was disqualified from the competition when it was discovered that he had accepted a bribe from a rival team.

These examples illustrate the definition of a bribee as someone who receives a bribe. In the first example, the government official received money in exchange for granting a contract, which is illegal and unethical. In the second example, the athlete accepted a bribe to intentionally lose the competition, which is also against the rules and unfair to other competitors. Both individuals were bribees because they received something of value in exchange for doing something they were not supposed to do.
