House counsel, also known as in-house counsel, inside counsel, or corporate counsel, is a lawyer who works for a company and manages its legal affairs. They represent the company in legal proceedings and receive a full-time salary from the company.

• ABC Corporation hires a lawyer to handle all of its legal matters. This lawyer is considered house counsel.
• XYZ Corporation has a team of lawyers who work in-house to provide legal advice and representation.
