Reasonable accommodation refers to the adjustments or modifications that employers must make for disabled workers to enable them to perform their job duties. These accommodations can include:

For example, if an employee has a visual impairment, the employer may provide them with a screen reader or magnifying software to help them read documents on their computer. If an employee has a physical disability, the employer may modify their workspace to make it more accessible, such as installing a ramp or widening doorways.
