Definition: Reckless knowledge is a person's awareness that a prohibited circumstance may exist, regardless of which the person accepts the risk and goes on to act.

Example: A person knows that driving under the influence of alcohol is dangerous and illegal, but still chooses to do so. This person has reckless knowledge of the potential harm and consequences of their actions.
